EDDINGTON – Robert J. Cameron, 51, husband of Donnette (Smith) Cameron, died Jan. 4, 2007, at a Boston hospital. He was born July 27, 1955, in Bangor, the son of James E. and Janet E. (Trepanier) Cameron Sr. Robert grew up in Holden, graduated from Brewer High School in 1974 and worked in construction. He had a big heart, loved hunting and fishing, was an avid NASCAR fan and was loved by all. Surviving in addition to his wife of Eddington and his father of Holden, are two children, Kimberly and Robert Cameron Jr., both of Eddington; two sisters, Rebecca J. “Becky” Farris and her husband, Dale, of Saco and Rhonda J. Simpson and her husband, Brian, of Rincon, Ga.; two brothers, James E. Cameron Jr. and his wife, Shirley, of Holden and John E. Cameron of Sun City, Fla.; several nieces and nephews; and a special nephew, Dylan Smith. The family expresses a special thanks to all those who supported and helped during his illness. Family and friends may visit 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at Kiley Funeral Home, 69 State St., Brewer, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at Rowe Cemetery, Holden.
