Reunion Planning Meeting - 11/4/23

Becky Amsden, Larry Geaghan, Rhonda Moore Geaghan, Brenda Rand Murphy, Lynn Eldridge, Cathy Mayo Harriman, Vickie Burns Deacon, Carol Gray Reynolds, Joe Hayes, Kathryn Buchanan Jovanelli and Judy Benton Cluff.

For our venue, we are leaning toward Jeff’s Event Center. We had pricing from other venues and Jeff’s appeared to be the best value. Brenda is going to confirm the price and some other details with Jeff, before we make a final decision. We also want to make sure Jeff has an available Saturday in August. We will also need to add a small up charge to tickets to help cover the cost of the DJ, decorations, name tags, awards etc.. Cathy Harriman has spoken to the DJ we had at our last reunion and it looks like we’ll be able to book him for our 50th. 

Becky presented a review of her work on the website and talked about several website options which we may want to take advantage of. The website is a work in progress and will greatly improve our ability to communicate with classmates and should help keep our costs down. This email is being sent from the website. 

We do ask that if you are in communication with a classmate please encourage them to sign into our website at Brewer74.com. Consider this a challenge!!  Can you get one more classmate to sign up?  Even if a classmate has no interest in attending the reunion, the website is a great way to keep informed and catch up with classmates.

Our next planning meeting will be on December 11th at Geaghan’s Pub at 4:30.
